Mission
To make evidence-based mental health resources universally accessible to children and adolescents, fostering a world where no young person faces mental health or learning challenges without support. We empower caregivers and professionals with the tools needed for early identification and intervention, helping children reach their full potential. With our interactions, we aim to show noticeable improvements in academic performance and social skills for our young clients

Executive Summary
The Center for the Soul (Support, Outreach, Understanding, Learning) is a 509(a)(2) nonprofit psychotherapy organization dedicated to transforming mental health access for underserved children and families across Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties. Founded with a mission to provide low or no-cost therapy to at-risk children and teens, The Center for the Soul envisions a world where every child, regardless of background or financial means, has access to evidence-based mental health resources.
Our immediate focus is to provide individual and group therapy, music therapy, and ecotherapy in natural environments, supervised by a psychologist, led by licensed therapists, and supervised interns. Our target clients are bilingual (English and Spanish) services for underserved communities, particularly the Hispanic population on California’s Central Coast; we are committed to building lasting, positive client relationships and facilitating impactful therapeutic change.
The Center for the Soul will differentiate itself through a specialized track record in working with at-risk teens and unique therapeutic approaches, including ecotherapy, Sylvotherapy, and integration therapy. With a dedicated team and strong community partnerships, we aim to bridge gaps in mental health access for children and families who need it most.
We look forward to seeing you.
